Cookie policy

The short version
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work. The rest are about understanding how the site is used, and you can turn those off without losing anything.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let anyone track you across other websites.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website puts on your device so it can remember something. Some related technologies do a similar job without being cookies. The rules treat them the same way and so do we.
What we use
Strictly necessary
These make the site work: keeping the site secure, remembering your cookie choices so we do not ask again, and making forms function. Without them parts of the site would break.
These do not need your consent, and there is no way to turn them off while still using the site.
Measurement
These tell us how the site is being used: which pages people read, how they arrive, where they give up. We use this to make the site better.
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for this.
We ask for your consent before any of these run. If you say no, none of them load, and the site works exactly the same.
Why we ask, when the law changed
The law on cookies changed in February 2026. Some kinds of straightforward statistical measurement no longer need consent, as long as the information is only used to improve the service and people are offered a simple way to opt out.
How to change your mind
You can change your cookie choices at any time using the link in the footer of any page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the strictly necessary ones will go too, and parts of the site may stop working properly.
How long they last
Strictly necessary cookies mostly disappear when you close your browser. Your record of your cookie choice lasts longer, so we are not asking on every visit. Measurement cookies last up to two years for Google Analytics unless you clear them sooner.
